Feng's Way
Working with sensors that detect whats going on in your muscles to communicate with your brain to get the muscles to release. Combines all of the techniques below to work these sensors give you the best results and best relief.
NMT
Neuromuscular Technique is a modality based on how your brain controls your muscles. Our brains use sensors to detect whats going on in the brain. This information is used to directly communicate with your brain via your muscles that these muscles are tense or overused, and the brain needs to release these muscles. Great for general release of tight muscles.
Lymphatic Drainage
Manual manipulation of the lymphatic system by returning the left over lymphatic fluid back to the system. A light massage focused on reducing swelling and lymphedema, ideal for people who just had surgury and those who have fluid retention.
Sports Massage
Sports Massage consists of mainly stretches and techniques that help relax overused muscles or cramping. These stretches are mainly targeted at certain muscles that is specific to your needs. They can either be active stretches or passive stretches. Passive is where the therapist is doing the movement for the client, and active is where the client is doing the movement himself/herself. Helps people increase their range of motion and ease muscle tension.
Cranial-Sacral Therapy
Cranial-Sacral Therapy works on normalizing the rhythm of your cerebral-spinal fluid. When this rhythm is normalized, the autonomic nervous system automatically turns to the parasympathetic nervous system. Or in plain english our brain has 2 sides, one is the fight or flight side (the sympathetic nervous system or SNS) and the other is the rest and relax side or the (parasympathetic nervous system or PNS.) The PNS will maximize your digestion, elimination, immunity and healing. While your SNS will Dilate the pupils, tense up muscles, increased blood pressure and decrease of most internal functions to get your body ready for action. Studies have shown that 1 hour of Crainnial-Sacral therapy is equal to 8 hours of full nights sleep.
Reflexology
Reflexology is a modality that works on your feet, hand and your ears. Our bodies are connected to certain point in your feet hands and ears that reflex upon vital organs and different parts of the body. So in reflexology, many of these points are worked to help facilitate these vital parts back to health.
Myofascial Release
Fascia is "the most important thing that nobody knows about". It is a form of soft tissue thats thin and elastic, and wraps all your muscles, blood vessels, nerves, and many of our organs in our body. If we have poor posture, or if we have injuries, the fascia in these areas will be restricted. Myofascial release works on facilitating these restrictions by stretching out the fascia to give it and everything it wraps more room to maneuver. This is great for chronic issues especially in our arms and legs.
Cupping
cupping is an ancient form of healing where cups are placed on certain areas of the body. The cups provide a suction to that area of stagnation either of muscles or with the energies and and draws out the stagnation to the surface where it can be moved out of our bodies more easily. This therapy can help with most physical issues depending on where the cups are placed.
Reiki
Reiki is the facilitation of energy. Everything we can see, smell, touch, taste and hear is energy. In our bodies, energy should be flowing freely within us, which puts our body at ease, and our bodies are in a healthy state. So when there is disease in our bodies, that means that there's a "restriction" in the energy flow of our body. Reiki works to find these "restrictions" and channel a better flow of energy.
Sound Healing
With the assistance of a 24 inch bronze bowl, you can immerse yourself in sound and vibrations. You will stand in the bowl while it is playing to receive the full effect of the bowl. It is done with intention to create an optimal healing space. Great for emotional and mental health.
